HIGHFIELD HOUSE STANDS WITHIN THE ALDERLEY EDGE CONSERVATION AREA
Highfield House stands within the Alderley Edge Conservation Area in a stunning, quiet and private setting at the head of a long gated driveway yet only a few hundred yards from the centre of this thriving and highly regarded Cheshire village. The location is superb for a short walk into the village with its excellent private and state schools, restaurants, bistros and bars, specialist shops, two butchers, two supermarkets and a soon to open Waitrose. The village has recently been by-passed and now generally has only local traffic. There is a thriving Tennis/Cricket/Squash/Hockey Club in the village, within easy walking distance, and numerous Golf clubs and gyms close by. The railway station offers a regular service to Manchester Airport, the City Centre, Crewe and Wilmslow, from where London is reached in only 1hr 47mins. The Edge is close by, managed by the National Trust and is a haven for those who enjoy walking or dog walking and the area is only a short drive away from the Peak National Park. A more convenient yet secluded setting would be hard to imagine.
